My opinion on the tests taken

We have done a group of tests, with the purpose of obtaining guidance that might help us deciding what we would like to do in the future,. Although I don’t have a formed idea of what I want do to in the future, I think that some results describe me very well, as others are a bit wrong in my opinion.
The first test was about work style preferences, evaluating the way that I like to work. The areas I scored the highest were: Directive, Social and innovative, and I quite agree with all of them specially with innovative, and directive since I considered myself as person who enjoy exploring and experimenting things in order to arrive at solutions to problems, and who likes to find out and create different ways to solve a problem, and I admit I’m a directive person, because I sure don’t like being told what to do, so I prefer to take charge and control of situations and projects that require planning and decision making. I don’t agree 100% with “social”, because even though I enjoy working with others, and I enjoy caring for and assisting others, I’m not great at socializing or dealing with people.

The second test was about finding out in what areas my intelligence is more developed. The results said that I am mostly music, word and number smart, which I disagree on the last one. I agree with being musical and word smart, since I’m passionate by music and I can recognize sounds easily and I enjoy reading, writing and talking about things, which makes me a musical and linguistic smart person. I don’t agree with being number smart though, because I’m not pretty good at mathematics, number activities, or solving problems.

The third test was more specific, the results were the professions that suit me the best according to my answers, so I was quite anxious to do this test because I have no idea what I’m going to applied for university so I wanted to know what are the top 5 careers I should considered according to this quiz. My top careers were Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Pharmacists, Natural Science Managers, Dietitians and Nutritionists, Family and General Practitioners. I was completely surprised when I saw that the profession which I had the highest score was obstetrician and gynecologist, because, although I had thought about taking medicine, I had never though in being a gynecologist, and I don’t think that is a profession that I will considerate following. Of all those professions the one that I found more interesting was Pharmacist, and I found really curious the fact that that profession was on my top five, because my sister is studding to be a pharmacist, and actually I myself, have been think about it, not exactly working on a pharmacy, but maybe working on a lab doing and trying to discover new drugs, furthermore, this career would allowed me to have a comfortable life, since the wages are pretty good.

Finally the fourth and last test has surprised me a lot, because the area that was expecting to have the highest score, which was health science, just came in fifth, and in first was Arts, Technology and communications; I can’t say that I disagree with this result, I just had never thought about following something like this, but now that I think about it, I actually find it very interesting, and sound very appealing to me, and I actually believe that I would enjoy do something like designing and producing contend, performing arts and design, or even write, practicing journalism or entertainment services.

To sum up, I think doing this tests was really productive, because even if I don’t agree with some of the results, I was given other options that I hadn’t think about it before, and now I think that actually suit me very well, so now I have more options to considerate to amply to university.

I totally agree that 'music' is the best skill of Rita, in my opinion she'll be a great singer, just not yet discovered that this is her future. World of fame is waiting for you Rita!
Filipa Gamas

Despite knowing that you do not have views about the profession you want to have in future, only a hint...
I think we would all benefit from a responsible person like you in the labs to make new drugs for us, to help us to stand the pressures of our future careers.
Catarina Martins

I agree with Catarina and disagree with Filipa. On the one hand I think you are perfect to be in a lab, super intellectual showing your skills has a scientist. Furthermore is a job that needs a great patience and responsability, that describes you completely. On the other hand, SINGER?! Oh my god, please have some respect for my ears and I think I don't need to say nothing more...Ps: You know that I love you a lot and not just because you have a lovely name =)
Rita CV

I agree with Filipa, you're an A in music! Specially to deaf people ahah. Now, serious.. You always liked music, so who knows if you will be the next Amália.. I disagree when you say "I don’t agree with being number smart" because you're smart number, smart nature, smart at all !!Pharmacist is good to you, and to me because I go a lot to pharmacies and pharmacist aren't good professionals. You want working in a lab? Being a crazy scientist? oh my God, Rita. YOU CAN'T PRACTICE JOURNALISM! This area can be an opportunity for me and if you are in this, you will take my place for being so good.
Bete F

Filipa, I think you are very wrong, not a singer but a guitarist, perhaps Gothic! Jokes apart, I think that you don't know exactly what you want but these tests were probably helpful. I don't agree with one thing in the first test, 70% Social and did not imagine you in Obstetricians and Gynecologists has first choice.
Daniela Pequito

Rita Pear, I agree what you said, because I really don't like the rules of other people. I like MY RULES in MY LIFE. In my side I don't agree when you said:
I’m not great at socializing or dealing with people" because I met you when you has four ears old and you were a little kid very funny!
Who girl wants to follow gynecologist? -.-
Zizi

I believe that she would be a good pharmacist because despite of being in the area of sciences she has nice grades at chemistry.
